On Thursday, March 7, Starbucks welcomes spring with the debut of the Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha, Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte and Lavender Crème Frappuccino® Blended Beverage.

“Lavender is the perfect flavor to transition us from the winter season into spring,” said Patrick Penny, Starbucks beverage developer. “Its soft sweetness, light floral notes and beautiful color ignite feelings of rejuvenation and awakening associated with the change of seasons.”

“When creating the new Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha, we wanted to capture the uplifting energy of spring in a cup,” Penny shared. “The vibrant green matcha topped with lavender-hued cold foam delivers a delightfully colorful and unexpectedly delicious flavor combination.”

“We aimed to create a really balanced, delicious beverage,” Penny said. “The oatmilk and the Starbucks Blonde Espresso make a lovely pairing, providing a smooth, well-rounded profile that is complemented by the floral and vanilla flavors of lavender.”

The new Lavender Crème Frappuccino® Blended Beverage blends together sweet and subtle floral notes of lavender and vanilla syrup with milk and ice, and is topped with whipped cream. Every sip delivers a delicious blend of floral lavender and sweet vanilla for a delicious caffeine-free spring treat.

The new Lavender Cream Cold Foam combines the subtle floral notes of lavender with Starbucks signature vanilla sweet cream, blended for a creamy colorful topping on any Starbucks beverage*. Add Lavender Cream Cold Foam to an Iced Chai Tea Latte for a delicious combination of spicy and sweet with subtle floral notes.

The new drinks are available in U.S. Starbucks stores for a limited time this season, while supplies last.
